2.2.2 Addressing for Analog I/O Bases
I/O data sent to and from the bus master is mapped to the terminals of analog I/O
bases in the following manner:
H Each analog value is mapped to a single word.
H The higher value word (MSW) is the first to be sent or received.
H Those words sent to the I/O base (output words) from the communications
adapter represent the output values and parameters.
H Words sent to the communications adapter (input words) from the I/O base
represent input values and statuses.
An example of register mapping for an analog I/O base is shown:
